Bridgewater College field hockey senior Claire Ashley has been selected as the 2022 ODAC National SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Ambassador.

Eight women's soccer team players have been recognized on the All-ODAC team for the 2021 season.

Sophomore women's soccer player Ashley Sabatino has been selected to the 2021 CoSIDA Academic All-District team, selected by CoSIDA.

A pair of field hocket players have earned spots on the All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference list.

A trio of volleyball players have been named to the All-ODAC volleyball teams.

Bridgewater College's Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Christine Carrillo, will perform at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 14, in Cole Hall on the College's campus. The concert will feature 22 student performers from a variety of majors.

Bridgewater College volleyball junior setter Grace Hayes has been named the ODAC Volleyball Player of the Week.

Bridgewater College's Symphonic Band, under the direction of Dr. Christine Carrillo, will perform on Sunday, Nov. 7, in Cole Hall on the College's campus. Thirty students (representing 13 different majors), along with professors, College staff and community members, will perform.

Bridgewater College's Katelyn Wiglesworth broke the school record for the 100 IM with a time of 1:05.03.

Bridgewater College senior Sydney Davis has been named the ODAC Player of the Week.

Bridgewater College freshmen Sophia Martone has been named the ODAC Golfer of the Week after breaking records at Knights Invitational.

The Bridgewater College men's lacrosse team has named seniors Robbie Noyes and Chris Martel as its captains for the 2022 campaign.

Bridgewater College senior Da'Sean Davis was named the ODAC Defensive Player of the Week after setting a single game school record in Bridgewater's Sept. 4 victory.

The Bridgewater College swimming program has named Amanda Nesselrodt, Jessica Touve and Benjamin Dillon as its captains for the 2021-22 season.

Mackenzie Young of Chesterfield, Va., a member of the Bridgewater College women's cross country team, joined the record books for Bridgewater women's XC at the Bridgewater Invitational.

Bridgewater College women's cross country freshmen Emily Smeds (of Palmyra, Va.) was selected ODAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week on Sept. 7. The team competed at the Eagles Cross Country Challenge on Friday Sept. 3. Smeds, in her first collegiate race, finished first with a time of 15.21.0. The rookie helped lead the team to a second-place finish with 51 points, trailing only first-place finisher Washington and Lee.

Twelve Bridgewater College softball student-athletes have been named 2021 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes. To earn this honor, student-athletes must boast a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Eagles named to the list for the 2021 season are Cheyenne Barlow, Brooklynn Fridley, Peyton Gregory, Emma Killion, Savannah Painter, Avery Pinder, Kathryn Thomas and Sarah Wimer. Also recognized were recent graduates Marlee Carroll, Keirsten Kennedy, Sydney Layman and Katrina Martin. The team rankings and individual honors are submitted by member head coaches and recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the association's membership categories.

The Dean's List for the spring 2021 semester at Bridgewater College has been announced by Dr. Leona A. Sevick, provost and vice president for academic affairs. More than 450 students were named to the list. Students on the Dean's List have attained a 3.4 or better grade point average of a possible 4.0.

Bridgewater College congratulates the more than 350 students who received undergraduate and graduate degrees on May 1.
