Demarco Fleming of the Bridgewater College football team has been named the ODAC Defensive Player of the Week after his performance in the Eagles' 58-0 win over Guilford on Saturday, Nov. 16.

The Bridgewater College Screamin' Eagles Marching Band has been selected to march in Philadelphia's 2024 Thanksgiving Day Parade on Nov. 28. They will perform the classic Christmas carol "Joy to the World."

Fourteen students from Bridgewater College participated in the inaugural Virginia Government Simulation in Richmond on Oct. 3-5, 2024.

Approximately $37,000 in funding for summer research projects were awarded to Bridgewater College students to conduct research under the mentorship of a faculty member throughout the summer.

Approximately 560 students at Bridgewater College were named to the Spring 2024 Dean's List. Students on the Dean's List have attained a 3.4 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0.
