Bridgewater College Symphonic Band to perform on Nov. 7

Bridgewater College's Symphonic Band, under the direction of Dr. Christine Carrillo, will perform on Sunday, Nov. 7, in Cole Hall on the College's campus.

The concert will open with First Suite in E-flat by Gustav Holst. Inchon by Robert W. Smith will follow. Kalia Page, a senior music major from Stanardsville, Va., will serve as the student conductor for that song.

The band will also perform Chasing Sunlight by Cait Nishimura, Echoes of the Hollow Square by Johnnie Vinson and Lightning Field by John Mackey.

Thirty students (representing 13 different majors), along with professors, College staff and community members, will perform.
